Go to https://passwords.eckerd.edu/react/. This is the only means of changing your password. DO NOT utilize any ‘Forgot Password’ prompt on other servers.
Enter your myEckerd Username (credential before '@eckerd.edu') when prompted.
Click the Password Reset Tool.
Select any of the authentication methods configured for your account.
- If you do not remember your old password, or it has expired, then authenticate using SMS, an email PIN, or by answering Challenge Questions. Authenticating via Active Directory with a voided password will NOT work.
- If you have never changed your password, and your myEckerd account is new: you will only be able to authenticate using the Active Directory option.
- You will then be prompted to configure authentication methods, such as: email, SMS, TOTP, and Challenge Questions.
- Once you have completed this configuration process, you will be automatically signed out. Enter your myEckerd username, and sign back in.
Manually enter a new password. Ensure your entry is completely unique from the past entries. Any entries detected to be too similar, or simple, will be voided.
Click Reset.
Ensure Active Directory AND Eckerd G Suite accept your new password. If they do, they will appear green and its status will say “successful.” If your entry was rejected, it will appear red and you must return to the previous page to choose a different password.
Click Finish.
* Accounts created before July 2018 have been loaded with challenge questions, and we periodically ask users to update their challenge questions and cell phone (SMS) information using the Update Profile tool. If none of these methods work for you, please call ITS at 727-864-8318 and let the helpdesk know that you are unable to reset your own password.
If you are unable to use the Password Reset Tool, please call
